For those aware of the fact that my internet has been having problems, I managed to get around it by hooking up to the net via a cord. Which means that I get to post a higher quality photo! :D So here's what I wrote when I first posted the image on Facebook, when it was first paired with a crappy photo from my phone...
"Yesterday's art theme, done today. Ran out of time yesterday... Plus the lack of internet makes life complicated. :| So I will be doing today's painting on Monday. :) This theme was of overlapping colors. Not sure if I followed the instructions correctly, but I like how it turned out. :) The ballerina is 14-year old Stephanie Kurlow."
The inspiration comes from this video of a young girl that wishes to be the first hijab-wearing ballerina. :D She's so elegant...
Plus I really love hijab fashion. <3 <3 <3 So pretty...
